Who we are
Vithi Logistics is the trading name of Vithi Services Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 15750540 and incorporated on 30 May 2024. Our registered office is Regional House, Kensworth Suite, Suite Room 4, 28–34 Chapel Street, Luton, LU1 2SE.
We are a small operation and we run it that way deliberately. The client list is kept short enough that every shipment is handled by someone who knows the account, the commodity codes and the supplier.
What we do
Three things, all registered with Companies House:
Road Transport
Freight transport by road, in the United Kingdom and across Europe
Forwarding & Brokerage
Freight forwarding and customs brokerage, covering sea, air and road consignments
Wholesale Trade
Non-specialised wholesale trade, supplying goods to trade customers
How we work
Quotations are built against the actual shipment — dimensions, weight, commodity code, Incoterms, destination — rather than an indicative range that changes when the invoice arrives. Declarations are checked before they are submitted. Costs are itemised. When a shipment goes wrong, and periodically one will, you are told early, with the options and what each one costs.
What we will not do
We will not quote for goods we are not equipped to handle, and we will not take a booking to keep a customer talking while we work out whether it is possible. Excise goods, dangerous goods, live animals, controlled drugs and firearms are outside what we do. Saying so at the enquiry stage costs us the job; finding out at the port costs you a great deal more.
Regulatory Position
- We act as a customs agent under written authority from each client, as a direct representative
- Road transport is arranged with licensed hauliers whose operator licensing and insurance we verify
- We are a freight forwarder and not a carrier: we contract with carriers on your behalf
- All business is undertaken subject to our Terms and Conditions of Trading
