We are based in Luton, close to the M1 and within reach of the southern container ports and the main cargo airports. Declarations are submitted electronically, so clearance is not tied to where we sit — we can clear goods arriving at any UK entry point.
Where we clear and collect
Entries are filed through the Customs Declaration Service rather than in person, so we are not limited to a fixed list of ports. If your goods land somewhere unusual, send us the arrival details and we will quote the clearance and the haulage on the day.
UK seaports
Goods we handle arrive most often through Felixstowe, Southampton, London Gateway, Tilbury, Dover, Immingham and Liverpool. We arrange clearance and onward haulage at all of them.
Because entries are filed through the Customs Declaration Service rather than in person, we are not limited to this list. Haulage from a port outside our usual routing is quoted on the day, at the rate we are given, so you can see whether it is worth moving the goods or clearing them closer to arrival.
Airports
We clear and collect at London Heathrow, London Luton, London Stansted, East Midlands and Manchester.
Airport handling agents charge storage from the day after arrival and the daily rates are steep. Send us the airway bill when you get it rather than waiting for the goods to land, and the consignment can be cleared before storage starts running.
Road coverage
- United Kingdom — collection and delivery nationwide, including Scotland and Wales.
- Europe — movements to and from the European Union, with export and import declarations prepared for both sides of the border.
- Northern Ireland — movements from Great Britain to Northern Ireland involve additional declarations and scheme requirements. Ask us before you book, and we will tell you what applies to your goods and whether we are the right people to handle it.
Origin handling
Overseas collection, export formalities and loading are handled by agents we appoint at origin. We do not maintain our own overseas offices, and we would rather tell you that plainly than describe a network we do not own. You will be told who is handling your cargo at the far end.
If your route is not listed
Send the origin and destination anyway. If we can cover it properly we will quote it. If we cannot, we will say so rather than accept the booking and work it out later.
